Sustainability in the lubricants industry is easy to claim and harder to demonstrate. Ours is deliberately unglamorous: make oil that lasts longer, blend it with less waste, package it in material that can be recovered, and be honest about the parts that are still difficult.
A lubricant that reaches its designed drain interval instead of being changed early is the single largest environmental saving available in this industry. Everything else is secondary to that.

Why longevity matters more than labels
Doubling the useful life of a hydraulic charge halves the volume of oil produced, transported and eventually disposed of for that machine. It also halves the number of drums, the number of deliveries and the amount of used oil requiring collection. That is a larger and more measurable saving than most of the marketing claims made in this sector, and it depends on unglamorous things: good base oil, sufficient additive treat rate, clean blending and correct filtration in service.
The honest counterpoint is that lubricants are still petroleum products, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can control is how much is needed, how well it is made, and what happens to the container afterwards.
Used oil and container recovery
Used lubricating oil is a recoverable resource and a serious pollutant if it is handled carelessly. Customers should route used oil through registered collectors rather than disposing of it on site.
